“How will I know it’s working? Am I just going all of a sudden disgusted with cigarettes?”

Many, but not all people will walk out of that first session not wanting to smoke.*

Now obviously, it’s not a magic wand, and it does take a bit of conscious commitment from you, but if you’re really wanting to become a non-smoker, then this is powerfully helpful tool to help you do that.

“I’m a pretty hardcore smoker. How many sessions will I need?”

This is very hard to judge without speaking to you personally. It's like a doctor would never give a prescription without first seeing what the diagnosis is, and where the patient is at.

“How long are the sessions? How far apart do you do them?”

Each session is about an hour long, the second is usually a little shorter.

Usually, we like to space out the sessions a week apart, but it’s not a big deal if you have to go out of town on business or vacation and miss a week or so.

“Are these group sessions or 1-on-1 sessions?”

Unfortunately, there are a lot of these con artists going around and doing these cheap group sessions and trying to pitch worthless supplements, and they’re basically useless.

Yes, a few people might stop smoking or lose weight, but usually what happens is that everyone is sitting in a hotel room peeking around to see if everyone else is hypnotized or not!

So we only do 1-on-1 sessions, with qualified, pre-screened hypnotherapists. We require them to be certified in good standing with the National Guild of Hypnotists.

“Why can’t I just do this with one of these hypnosis audio programs that lots of people sell online?”

You could. But keep in mind that most of these programs are developed by hypnotists that are first and foremost businessmen, not therapists.

Most audio programs have extremely low success rates. Also, just ask yourself, would you listen to a CD program to help cure a serious psychological problem like OCD or depression?

“Will I need any reinforcement sessions? What about a CD for that?”

We can give you a reinforcement CD if you wish. But again, since our program is designed to take care of the problem, we find that most people don’t need the CD.

Dirty Little Secret: ineffective hypnotists force a CD on you because they need it to compensate for NOT really taking care of the real issue.

They're just trying to ram the suggestions in your subconscious enough times, hoping something sticks.

When you help manage the actual underlying emotional issue with regards to smoking when you're stressed, emotional eating, etc. you're taking out the "weed by the root."

In terms of reinforcement sessions, we recommend at least one reinforcement session 3-6 months down the road. But that is completely optional, and not required for the program.

How do I know this will work for me?

What we pledge is that you WILL be hypnotized…and if after that first session, you don’t feel like you were hypnotized, you simply don’t pay. It’s that simple. We want to make it as low-risk as possible for you. We've never had anybody ask for that in 13+ years in practice.

“How will know I was hypnotized?”

• It’s basically just a state of physical relaxation and focused mental attention.

The thing is, hypnosis is different for every person, every time you do it. So it’s not like “I have to get to X level of relaxation” in order to be hypnotized.

If you can follow simple instructions, like close your eyes and take a deep breath, you’ll be just fine. And trust me, you’ll know afterwards. You’ll feel probably pretty relaxed when you get up from the chair.

“My only concern is that I’m not sure I’m able to be hypnotized.”

Like we’ve explained elsewhere, EVERYONE CAN be hypnotized…so long as they don’t have any fears about it and they’re willing to be hypnotized.

“When I did it for smoking before, I gained a lot of weight, and I don’t want that again.”

Many people are concerned about that. So what we do is we actually pre-empt that. The reason most people gain weight when they use cold turkey, is because they don’t have anything to replace it with.

But we give you suggestions for an alternative behavior to replace it with, giving you a new “ritual” to do.

For example, anytime you find yourself in a situation where you previously would have smoked, you’ll simply take 3 deep breaths, drink a big glass of water, and fire off what’s called a hypnotic anchor.

An hypnotic anchor is the following: you know how when you hear a song on the radio and It reminds you of a certain time? The same thing is true in hypnosis.

So what we do is have you imagine that feeling of control as a non-smoker while in hypnosis, and press your first finger and thumb together.

Then, when you do that in the future, all those suggestions then re-inforce themselves, keeping you on track, without turning to food.
